Synopsis

Humanity has spread across two worlds by the 2100s. After an ice asteroid hit Venus, massive terraforming efforts transformed it into a habitable planet. Four generations of colonists from Earth have built thriving settlements there—but they've also brought humanity's worst impulses with them. Now Venus is about to pay the price. Hiro Seno is a skilled motorcycle racer who happens to be in the wrong place when the rival nation of Ishtar launches a brutal assault on his home country, Aphrodia. Battletanks and warplanes tear through the city in moments. The Aphrodian military mobilizes fast, and despite his pacifist beliefs, Hiro gets caught up in the fighting and forced to survive on the front lines.
