Synopsis

People with "Toys"—special powers unique to each individual—are chosen to wield them. Some use their abilities to become detectives, while others turn to crime as phantom thieves. To combat this threat, detective academies sprouted up worldwide to train and deploy detectives against the thieves. Sherlock Shellingford, Nero Yuzurizaki, Hercule Burton, and Cordelia Glauca make up Milky Holmes, the star team at the Yokohama Holmes Detective Academy. That is, until they get into a fight with the phantom thief Arsene and lose their Toys entirely. Suddenly stripped of their powers and their status, the group gets relegated to a crummy attic and given an ultimatum: recover their abilities within three months or face expulsion. The story follows Milky Holmes as they scramble to get their Toys back while trying to keep working as detectives without the very powers that made them legendary.
