Synopsis

Natsuza Yuzuki grew up playing rugby as a left-winger and quickly became a rising star after joining Doushisha University's team in the Kansai University League. Everything changed when a motorcycle accident gave him a spinal hernia, ending his playing career for good. Unable to do anything else, he takes on the role of manager and throws himself into getting his team to win the league. His squad's got some real characters—his quiet best friend Seiichirou Jingyouji plays fullback, Yasunari Tsuru is a hot-headed first-year who actually hates Natsuza and took over his old position as left wing, and Yuu Mashiro is struggling to hold his own as scrum half. Even with Natsuza working overtime to whip them into shape, something's missing. The team's ace, Ibuki Ueka, was a genius fly-half who mysteriously quit rugby a year ago. Now Natsuza's got a new goal: convince him to come back.
