Synopsis

This animation project comes from Hachinohe Portal Museum "hacchi," a cultural center in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture. The story follows Hamaneko, an alien girl from the planet Nekoryoshka, and Kabu, a black-tailed gull, as they explore Hachinohe's coastal landscape and local life. The animation itself is made using textile-based animation techniques, giving it a unique visual style. The food featured throughout the story was created by Yuki Miura, a chef from the Hachinohe restaurant Bistrot Pot d'Etain, specifically for the series.
