Synopsis

Qin Yu has blocked meridians, which means he can't practice internal cultivation like other martial artists. He lives secluded with his grandfather Lian, who eventually gives him a strange bird to lift his spirits. Qin Yu names it Xiao Hei. Desperate to impress his father, Qin Yu decides to pursue cultivation anyway. Under the harsh training of Zhao Yunxing, he pushes himself to master external martial arts instead, trying to work around his physical limitations. During a training break, he stumbles across a red crystal that absorbs into his body. The transformation gives him unexpected powers—something he doesn't fully understand at first, but which will help him prove himself to his father. He sets out on his journey with Xiao Hei by his side.
