Synopsis

Alfred Izuruha is a 10-year-old kid living in the supposedly neutral Side 6 colony cluster. Like most boys his age, he's completely obsessed with the ongoing war between the Earth Federation and Zeon. What he doesn't know is that his next-door neighbor Christina is secretly test-piloting a prototype Gundam that the Federation's been developing in the colony. Meanwhile, a Zeon Special Forces team has been sent in with orders to either steal or destroy the thing. When fighting breaks out between Federation troops and infiltrating Zeon soldiers, Alfred spots a downed Zaku mobile suit. Its pilot is Bernie Wiseman, a young, inexperienced Zeon soldier. The two strike up a friendship—Alfred's interested in learning about the war firsthand, and Bernie sees an opportunity to get intel on the colony for his team's mission.
