Synopsis

Chris Senshuu is a laid-back guy in his mid-twenties who keeps bombing his college entrance exams. He spends most of his time doing kendo, hanging around his family's shrine, and looking forward to his high school reunion. Then one day his spirit gets pulled into the fantasy world of Byston Well, where he's suddenly a legendary holy warrior called Garzey's Wing. The Metomeus tribe brought him there specifically to free them from slavery—except Chris has absolutely no idea how to be a holy warrior, and the only weapon he's got is a dingy, worthless sword he picked up off a dead body. Making things even messier: there's still another version of Chris back in the real world, and the two are mysteriously connected. The guy in Byston Well can't control what his other self does, but their fates are tied together. So now Chris has to navigate a world full of magic and strange people while dealing with forces completely outside his control.
