In a distant future, sentient gems called Houseki emerge as a new form of life. There are 28 of them total, and they're under constant threat from the Tsukijin—hostile moon dwellers who want to capture and turn them into decorations. To survive, each gem is assigned a specific role: some fight on the front lines, others work as medics or support staff. Phos desperately wants to join the combat forces, but instead gets stuck with a completely different job.
