Synopsis

In the futuristic city of Heartland, a kid named Yuuma Tsukumo wants what every duelist wants—to become the best. Problem is, he's not actually that good at dueling. Everything changes when a school bully named Ryouga "Shark" Kamishiro breaks a key Yuuma's father gave him. During the duel that follows, the key mysteriously repairs itself and opens a door, revealing an alien named Astral that only Yuuma can see. Turns out Yuuma's memories have been scattered across 100 "Number Cards" scattered throughout the world, and he needs to find them all. But he's not the only one hunting them down. With Astral's help, Yuuma has to track down these cards while dealing with increasingly dangerous threats to Heartland City—and maybe some mysterious supernatural stuff too.
