Nijuu Mensou is a gentleman thief with a reputation for pulling off perfect heists and always tipping off his targets beforehand. He's got principles though—he won't kill, and he only robs people he considers genuinely corrupt. Things get complicated when he targets the Mikamo household. Chiko, an 11-year-old girl living there with her aunt and uncle after her parents died, has inherited a fortune. But her home life is miserable, and she's desperate to escape. When Nijuu Mensou steals the family's heirloom jewel, he ends up taking Chiko with him. She quickly becomes part of his crew, learning the heist trade and finding the real family she never had. But becoming known as Nijuu Mensou's daughter comes with its own set of problems.
