Ryuhei's stumbling across his dad's old school notebook while packing for a move turns into way more than he bargained for. The notebook describes a treasure hunt through Tokyo's underground passages, and the curious kid decides he's going to find it. He brings his little brother along with three friends he knows from an online chat room, and they head down into the tunnels. What they actually find is a whole hidden community living underground—full of all kinds of weird people. There's even an elderly soldier down there who's still convinced he's on a World War II mission. The treasure hunt basically becomes an adventure through this bizarre underground world and all the strange characters living in it.
