Synopsis

Kain, a dangerous intergalactic criminal, escapes from prison and destroys the Galaxy Police Headquarters. Riding high on the destruction, he sets his sights on Earth for his next target. Back home, Tenchi and the others are watching old home videos of his mother Achika when something bizarre happens—she starts fading away from the footage. Tenchi begins disappearing too. Fortunately, Washuu has a device that keeps him from vanishing completely. They figure out that Kain must be behind it somehow, and that he's altered the timeline. To save his mother and keep himself from ceasing to exist, Tenchi travels back in time with the girls to protect Achika from whatever's coming.
