Synopsis

Hell runs like a well-oiled machine, and that's all thanks to Hoozuki, the sharp-minded chief deputy to Lord Enma. Whether he's dealing with legendary figures from Japanese folklore or handling diplomatic visits from the Christian underworld, Hoozuki's got the management skills—and the willingness to use violence—to keep everything running smoothly. Hoozuki no Reitetsu is basically a dark comedy about what happens when you put a micromanaging workaholic with Wall Street-level negotiation tactics in charge of hell's day-to-day operations.
