Synopsis

Jiang Yuan, an assassin from Tai Xuan Tower, and Shao Yue, the holy maiden of Jiu Xuan Sect, get forced into marriage as part of some mutual deal. On their wedding night, they each try to kill the other—only to find out they're both immortal. After that failed attempt, they switch gears: instead of enemies, they play the role of a married couple while secretly working against each other to steal their respective sects' treasures, the Demon-Suppressing Bell and the Demon-Controlling Bell. What neither of them realizes is that they're both aliens whose homeworlds were destroyed by something called the Void. As they navigate the suspicious cultivation world and keep testing each other, they gradually form a real alliance. Turns out the bells they're after are actually pieces of an ancient spaceship, and finding them might be key to getting the power they need to fight back against the Void before it destroys everything else.
