Synopsis

Takumi Miyasaka shows up to interview for a head chef position at what he thinks is a fancy restaurant, only to discover Astro Lodge is actually a shabby boarding house. He's let down at first, but decides to cook for the residents anyway—and they're blown away by his skills. The landlady, Mira Gotokuji, is especially impressed and charmed by him. Turns out Takumi's just as smitten with her, so he takes the job as the breakfast chef and moves into Room 5. Pretty quickly, Takumi notices Mira is weird. She has no clue how to use modern technology, doesn't understand Japanese food, and there's this strange voice coming from her room that he can't explain. What he doesn't realize is that Mira's actually an alien who just arrived on Earth to carry out some kind of secret mission.
