Synopsis

Duel Monsters has gotten more complicated as players have gotten better, and success basically comes down to mastering established rules and strategies. But Yuuga Oudou, an elementary school kid obsessed with inventing things, thinks competitive dueling has become way too predictable and boring. So he decides to shake things up with Rush Duels—a completely new way to play that he's created himself. When another student named Tatsuhisa Kamijou hears about it, he's intrigued enough to bring Yuuga to a mysterious location to test out the system's potential. Yuuga's real dream is bigger than just inventing a new format—he wants to make dueling fun again. And if Rush Duels can replace the old standard and break the current ruleset in the process, even better.
