Synopsis

Nike was just a regular kid from a small village who had zero interest in becoming a hero. Then the king of Ainshent Castle Town put out a call for heroes to defeat the Demon Lord Giri, and Nike's father basically kicked him out the door to go do it. So off he goes with Kukuri, a girl from the Migu Migu Clan, to become the legendary hero everyone's apparently counting on. As they travel around, Nike and Kukuri are trying to master something called Guru Guru Magic—the weird but powerful stuff that can seal away Giri's powers. They're not thrilled about the whole "save the world" assignment, but they pick up allies along the way and end up having a decent time despite themselves.
