Everyone's got a Book of Fate—a record of their entire life written by these beings called Story Tellers. But some Story Tellers are jerks who'd rather mess with other people's stories instead of writing their own. These antagonists are called Chaos Tellers, and they get off on destroying the Books of Fate by overwriting them. Four people—Ex, Reina, Tao, and Shane—were born with completely blank books, which is pretty much unheard of. Society treats them like outcasts because of it, so they ditch their old lives and set off to find something better. Out in the world, they run into recognizable fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Momotarou, and Snow White. Together, they're trying to stop the Chaos Tellers and restore order to everyone's stories.
