Synopsis

Saki Uno is your average 15-year-old girl—except she moonlights as half of Magical Twins, an idol duo that basically nobody cares about. She's fine with that though, since she gets to spend all her time with her best friend Sakuyo and secretly pine after Sakuyo's brother Mohiro. Life's pretty chill until a yakuza-looking thug shows up at her front door. Turns out he's actually Kokoro-chan, a mascot character, and he's got news: Saki's mom used to fight demons as a Magical Girl, and now he needs Saki to take over the job. Saki's not interested—until Kokoro-chan drops the bomb that Mohiro's being targeted by cute demon creatures with fluffy tails. That's all the motivation she needs. When Saki rushes to save Mohiro, her love for him awakens her powers and triggers her transformation into a Magical Girl. There's just one problem: her body isn't built for combat, so instead of becoming a cute warrior, she transforms into a muscular dude in a pretty dress. Now stuck looking like that, Saki has to team up with Sakuyo to fight off the demon hordes and protect Mohiro from harm—all while dealing with the absolute weirdness of her new situation.
