Synopsis

One day while walking through the forest, the witch Alyssa stumbles upon a glowing bush and discovers a baby inside. The child isn't a witch, but her magical power far exceeds what any normal human should possess. Alyssa decides to take her in and raises her as her own daughter, naming her Viola. Fast forward sixteen years, and Viola's grown into an adult who actually towers over her mother—people constantly mistake them for the opposite ages. Alyssa loves her deeply regardless, though Viola can be possessive and tends to push away anyone she thinks might steal her mother's affection. While Viola doesn't know her real origins, she has everything she needs in Alyssa and the group of close friends who've helped raise her over the years. With Alyssa's help, Viola will learn to control her powers and become someone her adoptive mother can be proud of.
