Cinque Izumi, Nanami Takatsuki, and Rebecca Anderson are heading back to Flonyard for another round of friendly war games between the three allied nations: Biscotti Republic, Galette, and Pastilage. Cinque's the hero of Biscotti, Nanami is her cousin and Galette's hero, and Rebecca represents Pastilage—plus she and Cinque are close friends. The season opens with the three of them traveling from the human world. Rebecca's packing up to leave Japan for Pastilage, while Cinque and Nanami are heading to England before making their way to their respective countries. Then they hit some seriously bad luck—literally struck by lightning—and end up crash-landing in the Dragon Forest instead. There they meet Sharu, the Dragon Priestess who guards the place, and she's got bad news: demons are massing to invade the forest and take over the entire continent. So much for friendly games. With a real invasion on the horizon, can these three heroes actually save Flonyard from destruction?
