Synopsis

The Europan Imperial Alliance pushes westward in search of resources, setting its sights on the neutral Principality of Gallia and its massive Ragnite reserves. With overwhelming military advantage and superior technology, the Empire faces basically no resistance—they just roll right through the border unopposed. When Imperial forces sweep through his hometown, Welkin Gunther and his sister Isara team up with the local militia leader to drive them back. After a quick retreat to the capital, they get absorbed into the remnants of the militia and formally organized into Squad Seven, tasked with helping repel the Imperial occupation across the country. Despite having zero combat experience, the squad has to defend Gallia from being swallowed up by the Empire. But as fighting spreads throughout the nation, they start uncovering old secrets that bind them together in ways none of them could've predicted.
