Synopsis

Shou Zama is your typical 18-year-old living in Tokyo when he suddenly gets pulled into Byston Well, a medieval fantasy world. Once he arrives, he's basically conscripted to work for Drake Luft, an ambitious warlord who's hungry for power. People like Shou from "Upper Earth" have strong aura abilities and are forced to pilot Aura Battlers—insectoid mecha designed by Shot Weapon, another Upper Earth transplant. Things change fast when Shou meets Marvel Frozen, a woman actively working against Drake's regime. As he figures out what Drake is really after, Shou switches sides and joins the resistance led by Neal Given. They're not without inside help either—Riml, the enemy's own daughter and Neal's secret girlfriend, feeds them intel while trying to escape her father's control. Together, Shou and the group have to stop Drake from conquering Byston Well before he tightens his grip completely.
