Synopsis

Kenichi Shirahama is your typical high school pushover—when he's not getting beaten up at karate club, he's buried in self-help books. Everything changes when he accidentally startles a new student named Miu Furinji one morning, only to get thrown to the ground for his trouble. After apologizing for her instinctive violence, Miu befriends him instead. That same day, a karate club member delivers bad news: they're fighting next week, and the loser is out for good. Desperate to avoid humiliation, Kenichi sees Miu casually take down three thugs by herself and begs her for help. She takes him to her grandfather's dojo, Ryouzanpaku, where a crew of eccentric but genuinely skilled martial arts masters train. Miu makes it clear that Kenichi will get stronger—assuming he survives the training. As Kenichi throws himself into his new path, a dangerous criminal gang called Ragnarok emerges, putting everyone around him at risk. Now he has to grow strong fast, both to survive his masters and to protect others from real threats.
