Koyomi Araragi isn't really human anymore, but he's determined to track down the scattered pieces of Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade that three powerful vampire hunters stole. The problem is, these three are no joke—Dramaturgie is a vampire himself, Episode can shapeshift into mist as a half-vampire, and Guillotinecutter is a human priest who might be the deadliest of them all. There's a catch though: every minute Araragi spends chasing down Kiss-shot's body parts pulls him further away from humanity and deeper into vampirism. The real question is whether he can actually become human again once everything's over, or if he'll be too far gone by then.
