Synopsis

In a world where monsters and humans coexist, most people hunt them down. But there's a small group called Riders who do the opposite—they bond with monsters instead. Using special stones called Kizuna Ishi, Riders unlock hidden powers in their monsters and live alongside them in secret. Ryuto is a 12-year-old kid from the Rider village of Hakum who dreams of becoming the greatest Rider ever. Before he's officially given his own Kizuna Ishi in a coming-of-age ceremony, he decides to find his own monster partner first. He heads into the forest with his easygoing best friend Cheval, his curious childhood friend Lilia, and his companion Naville—and that's when he stumbles across a Rathalos.
