Synopsis

A.D. Police takes place a few years before Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, following Mega-Tokyo's specialized police unit tasked with dealing with rogue Boomers. Officer Kenji Sasaki is having a rough time—he just lost another partner to a malfunctioning boomer. The next day, while he's still on the outs, he gets assigned a new partner: Hans Kleif, a cop from Germany. There's just one problem: Kenji punched him in the face at a bar last night. So now he's got to figure out how to work with someone he just beat up, all while trying to keep the city's rogue Boomer problem under control.
