Synopsis

Qin Feng was once considered a once-in-a-millennium genius of the Wuji Kingdom, but his entire family was framed and destroyed, leaving him as the sole survivor. With his martial meridians crippled and his reputation in tatters, he was dumped at a small, irrelevant sect. Only his kind second senior sister showed him any kindness while he suffered through constant bullying. What nobody knew was that he'd been secretly training his body in cultivation, working himself to the bone despite his circumstances. When he found out that three sect members could study at the Heavenly Dao Academy, he decided he'd had enough. After Yun Tianyu—the sect's prodigy—humiliated him one too many times, Qin Feng snapped and unleashed his hidden physical cultivation strength, completely demolishing him. He kept at it, repeatedly beating Yun Tianyu down and directly challenging the First Elder. Desperate to get into the academy so he could grow stronger and eventually get his revenge, he pushed hard enough that they agreed to settle it with a contest in seven days—winner takes the academy spot. Things got complicated though. Right before the fight, Yun Tianyu had a breakthrough and inherited the Holy Son power, suddenly becoming this golden child everyone believed would crush Qin Feng. Even his second senior sister begged him to forfeit and tried giving him her own spot. But Qin Feng refused to back down. Then, in a shocking turn, he himself received the Holy Man's inheritance. Now carrying the weight of saving humanity on his shoulders, he threw himself into brutal training to prepare for the showdown.
