The Fierce Canine Army gets the day off, but Norakuro's got nowhere to go. He stops by a yakitori shop for a drink, then heads to the park for a quick nap. That's when soldiers from the Mountain Monkey Army show up—they've stolen some secret documents, and Norakuro's immediately on their tail. The monkeys manage to escape in a hot air balloon, so Norakuro does something crazy: he jumps into a fireworks launcher and shoots himself straight into the balloon. He gets the documents back, but things don't go quite as expected.
