Asunaro joins a school that has three baseball teams. The first team is basically legendary—super competitive and one of the best around. The third team, though? That's where Asunaro ends up, and it's basically the dumping ground for players nobody wanted and kids who can't really play. The coach thinks they're worthless and decides to shut the team down in a month. But one of the guys convinces him to give them a shot—just one game. If they can beat the first team, the third team gets to take their spot and chase the dream of making it to Koshien Stadium.
