Synopsis

Dr. Kazuki created a robot powered by magnetism and sphere joint technology to defend Earth against an invasion by the Izaru people. His daughter Mai underwent a risky augmentation procedure to pilot "Magnetman Minus" (also called "Mighty"), while Takeshi Houjou piloted "Magnetman Plus" (or "Puraiza"). The two pilots would embrace each other and physically transform into a metallic plate that locked onto the Gakeen robot's frame—the name short for "Gathering Keen"—which allowed the super robot to function and fight. The sequence had a distinctly sensual quality that adults couldn't help but notice.
