Ikoku Meiro no Croisée The Animation
In 19th century Paris, Claude and his grandfather Oscar operate a metalworking shop in the Galerie du Roy shopping arcade. When Oscar returns home from traveling abroad, he brings a young Japanese girl named Yune with him—and announces she'll be staying to work for them. Claude's not thrilled about it at first, but he eventually comes around. At the start, Yune's foreign ways throw Claude off balance as he tries to manage both her and the shop. Gradually though, as she settles in as their live-in maid, something shifts. He starts actually wanting to learn about her and understand the culture she comes from—which is completely different from anything in his world.
