Synopsis

Ureshiko Asaba is a 26-year-old married woman living a double life as the magical girl Agnes, secretly protecting her town. Everything changes when Sayaka Kurenai—the magical girl Cruje—arrives as her official successor. There's just one problem: Ureshiko knows Cruje's real mission is to wipe out the entire town and rebuild it from scratch. Meanwhile, Ureshiko's personal life is falling apart. Her marriage to Tamotsu is deteriorating, and she's developing feelings for Tatsumi Kagura, a guy renting a room in their house. To make things worse, there's a magical rule hanging over her head: if she ever kisses an ordinary human, she'll lose her powers for good.
