Synopsis

Takashi Natsume can see youkai, and in this season he's still working through the Book of Friends with Madara—his bodyguard who goes by Nyanko-sensei—freeing spirits from the contracts bound within it. The big thing happening here is that Natsume finally makes peace with his ability. He stops seeing it as something cursed and starts appreciating what it's given him. Spending time with both his human friends and youkai companions makes him realize how much they all matter, and he figures out he doesn't have to pick one world over the other to find happiness.
