Synopsis

Yobi, The Five Tailed Fox follows a kumiho—a shape-shifting fox from Korean folklore that traditionally appears as a seductive woman to prey on humans. Yobi's different though: she's a kindhearted five-tailed fox (not the powerful nine-tailed kind) who's lost her family to hunters. Living safely in the forest with a group of stranded aliens, Yobi's forced into the human world when one of her alien friends gets captured by a villager. She sneaks into a nearby village to rescue him, where she meets Geum Yee, a student at a school for troubled kids. Fascinated by human life and drawn to Geum Yee, Yobi disguises herself and enrolls in the school, throwing herself into the experience. But her time in the village doesn't go unnoticed—a fox hunter and a mysterious shadow figure are both closing in on her.
