Synopsis

Ittoki Sakuraba never understood why his mom, uncle, and childhood friend Kousetsu were so obsessed with his safety. Kousetsu especially was relentless—constantly shadowing him, invading his privacy, acting like bodyguard duty was his full-time job. It all seemed excessive until Satomi Tsubaki, an adorable second-year at his high school, asked him out. What started as an innocent date took a dark turn when Ittoki showed up at her place: Tsubaki and her crew were there to assassinate him. Just when things looked bad, his uncle and Kousetsu arrived dressed in full ninja gear and saved the day. Turns out Ittoki's been kept in the dark about a lot. His mother finally comes clean—he's the 19th heir to the Iga clan, a major ninja family, and he's got a big target on his back because of their enemies, the Koga clan. To survive, he needs to actually learn how to fight like a ninja. His only option: enroll at Kokuten Ninja Academy, the last ninja school left in Japan.
