Synopsis

Chizuko Date has spent her whole life moving around because of her mom's job, never really settling down or getting attached to anything. That changes when she stays with her grandfather Suikyou and witnesses a magical girl named Berry Blossom fighting against Chroma, a villain from the evil organization Fossa Magna. Seeing Berry Blossom win the day gets Chizuko hooked, and she becomes her biggest fan. But as time goes on, Berry Blossom's popularity tanks because Chroma keeps messing up their fights. When Chizuko randomly runs into Chroma, she doesn't hold back—she tells him off about how pathetic he is. The thing is, Chroma's tired of losing, and Fossa Magna is threatening to fire him if he keeps it up. Desperate, he begs Chizuko to become his second-in-command and help him with his evil schemes. Now Chizuko's faced with a real dilemma: help the villain so that Berry Blossom has a worthy opponent and gets her popularity back, or stay on the side of good. Either way, something doesn't sit right.
