Synopsis

It's just another job for the broke crew of the Bebop—hunt bounties, scrape together enough woolong to eat. But things get complicated when Faye's chasing down some small-time target on Mars and witnesses an oil tanker blow sky-high. The explosion releases a cloud of something nasty that spreads a mysterious disease through the city, killing people left and right. When the bounty on whoever caused it hits three hundred million woolong, suddenly the crew has real motivation to investigate. With that kind of money on the line and lives hanging in the balance, Spike, Jet, Faye, Edward, and Ein scatter across Alba City to dig up leads. As they poke around separately, they uncover evidence of a pharmaceutical company covering something up—and the conspiracy goes way deeper than a bunch of freelance bounty hunters expected to find.
