Synopsis

Akira Fudo is a timid teenager who dies in a mountaineering accident in the Himalayas alongside his father. A demon soldier named Devilman possesses Akira's body and takes on his human form as part of a plan to sow chaos on Earth and prepare the way for a full demonic invasion. Before Devilman can fully commit to his mission, he reconnects with Akira's childhood friend Miki Makimura and develops genuine feelings for her. This changes everything—he decides to turn against his own kind and protect both Miki and humanity by fighting the other demons. The Demon Tribe leader Zennon doesn't take kindly to this betrayal and starts sending Devilman's former allies after him. Once the demon forces realize how important Miki is to Devilman, she becomes a target too, forcing him into a constant fight for both their survival. The central question becomes whether love can ultimately triumph over pure evil.
