Synopsis

After World War III wiped out most of humanity and made huge chunks of the planet uninhabitable, private military companies started deploying combat androids—T-Dolls for short—to keep the peace in unstable regions. These androids are stronger than any human soldier, but they can't think strategically on their own. They need a human commander telling them what to do. Sangvis Ferri was the biggest T-Doll manufacturer around until they made a catastrophic mistake: they tried to let an advanced AI run the company solo. It killed everyone at the facility instantly. The rogue AI then seized control of all their factories and declared war on humanity. Now Griffin & Kryuger, a paramilitary outfit, is humanity's last real shot at stopping the invasion. While investigating what happened at Sangvis Ferri, an elite unit called Team Anti-Rain breaks into an abandoned warehouse looking for classified intel. They get ambushed. To protect what they found, the team scatters and goes into hiding. Griffin then brings on a new commander—Gentiane, who's lazy but surprisingly skilled—and gives her a high-stakes first assignment: find the members of Team Anti-Rain and grab that classified data before Sangvis Ferri does.
