Synopsis

The devil king Lucifero suddenly decides to retire and needs someone to take his place. Various Devil King Cadets show up in the human world to compete for the position. There's one exception though—Lucifero's own descendant, Osamu, who couldn't care less about the whole thing. Honestly, he'd rather keep working his convenience store job than worry about the fate of the world. But he's forced into the competition anyway and has to start collecting familiars called "Child," which spawn from human souls. The problem is Osamu actually cares about his minimum wage gig, so he's basically just falling further and further behind all the other serious candidates.
