Synopsis

Shin Hazama has kept his heart locked away since his mother died mysteriously during his childhood. With his scientist father buried in his research, Shin's only real support is his childhood friend Kotori Izumi—the popular, kindhearted daughter of his dad's boss. By the end of their third year of high school, things finally start looking up. Shin and Kotori are moving forward together, romance included. Then his father dies just as suddenly. Before they can even process it, agents from a high-tech parallel universe Japan show up and drop a bombshell: they know why his parents died. Among them is Jin, Shin's alternate-self from that other world. Jin's got his own agenda—he needs to keep Shin alive since their lives are connected across dimensions, but he's also there to kill Kotori. That's because her parallel counterpart, Princess Kotoko, rules that dystopian world with an iron fist and murdered Jin's parents. Suddenly Shin and Kotori are caught between two worlds, forced to confront what they actually mean to each other while reality as they know it crumbles around them.
