Synopsis

In a world of magic and monsters, Krylancelo Finrandi and his foster sister Azalie were star students at the Tower of Fangs—until a magical experiment goes catastrophically wrong and transforms Azalie into a dragon. Rather than help, the Tower's leadership kicks her out and sweeps the whole thing under the rug to protect their reputation. Furious, Krylancelo abandons his old life, takes the name Orphen, and dedicates himself to finding a way to change Azalie back. Five years pass with no real progress. Then Orphen runs into Azalie again—but he's still no closer to a solution. To make things worse, a group of hostile sorcerers are now actively hunting her down. As the past catches up with him, Orphen has to figure out how to save his sister from the very people they once called teachers and friends.
