Synopsis

One Night Sake Cup Takashi Natsume gets lost in the forest on his way home, but a traveling youkai couple who craft sake cups finds him. He drinks from one of their cups and immediately feels revitalized—turns out it's a special "One Night Cup" that makes any drink taste amazing, though the effect only lasts until morning. The next day, Natsume heads to a youkai banquet with Madara, his sake-loving cat guardian, where he gets a rare chance to learn the craft himself. Party of Fun & Games Natsume regrets turning down Madara's invitation to a banquet and decides to track the cat down. He follows him to an abandoned mansion where he quickly senses a bunch of youkai hanging around. The seductive youkai Hinoe fills him in: the place is basically a hide-and-seek arena where winning spirits get control of a valley. With Madara nowhere to be found, Natsume starts having disturbing dreams about the mansion—and in these dreams, he's actually playing the game.
