Synopsis

The series aired two recap episodes ahead of its regular broadcasts during Owarimonogatari 2nd Season. The first recap (before the Mayoi Hell episode) was called "Heading Towards the End of the Story." Hiroshi Kamiya, who voices Araragi, walked through the major events from several earlier arcs: Koyomi Vamp, Mayoi Maimai, Shinobu Time, Yotsugi Doll, Koyomi Nothing, and Koyomi Dead. The second recap (before the Ougi Dark episode) was titled "Araragi Koyomi's Story." This time Yui Horie, the voice actress for Hanekawa, reflected on everything that had happened to Araragi over the past year and throughout the series so far.
