Synopsis

The Boundary Realm sits across the Lethe River, perpetually shrouded in darkness. Ghost messengers work there constantly, maintaining the world's balance by collecting the dead. These messengers come in pairs—Black and White Warriors—who venture into the Human Realm to gather spirits. Xiaohei and Xiaobai are two low-ranking messengers whose partnership hits a rough patch after a major incident involving the One Hundred Ghost Great Seal. To make matters worse, secrets about Xiaobai's true identity start coming to light around the same time.
