Synopsis

Nanoha Takamachi is just a normal third-grader who loves spending time with her family and friends—until she rescues an injured ferret from her dreams. The next day, the ferret contacts her telepathically, revealing himself as Yuuno Scrya, a mage from another world. He's been searching for 21 Jewel Seeds that he accidentally scattered across Earth, and he needs Nanoha's help. Yuuno gives her a magical wand called Raising Heart and teaches her how to become a mage herself. After collecting a few of the Jewel Seeds, a rival mage named Fate Testarossa shows up—and she's way stronger than Nanoha. Fate is also after the seeds but refuses to explain why, keeping her distance despite Nanoha sensing something sad behind her eyes. The series follows what happens when these two girls' conflicting goals collide, exploring the clash of emotions that results.
