Synopsis

Mei, Aiko, Asami, and Nagi are baking cookies at Mei's place. Since it'll take a while, Nagi kicks Yamato out. He gets a text from Kai asking if he wants to hang out at the park—turns out it's the rundown spot where they first met and actually connected. After some back-and-forth, Kai asks why Yamato, the guy who's always surrounded by people and having fun, was always showing up to the park alone after school. Yamato opens up about feeling like a chameleon—someone without a real personality who just morphed into whatever people wanted. Kai tells him he used to hate the town, but Yamato changed that for him. He reassures Yamato that he's his own person, and Yamato admits that meeting Mei made him realize how isolated he'd actually been. Later, Kai runs into Megumi at the bus stop. He compliments her for staying true to herself while modeling, but she snaps at him, and he takes it badly and leaves. When Momo shows up, Megumi regrets going off on Kai. She gets even more embarrassed when Momo teases her about maybe liking him. Meanwhile, back at Mei's house, the cookies turn out great. Mei's mom pushes the two of them out. Yamato hugs Mei, telling her he's grateful she's with him. They watch the sunset together and keep walking, hand in hand.
