Synopsis

Mo Fan, a mage, and his partner Ling Ling get pulled into an old mystery after receiving a strange invitation from the king of the hunt. As they dig deeper, they uncover a conspiracy orchestrated by something called the Red Beast. It's been growing stronger by parasitizing demons like Yichu and Lu Kun, steadily working toward some larger goal. Mo Fan teams up with Ling Ling, Wang Yue, Kaoru, and their other allies to fight the Red Beast in an intense battle, and they manage to destroy it. But there's a twist—it turns out they only took down one of its copies. Worse, Mo Fan realizes he's been part of the Red Beast's plan all along.
