Synopsis

Mona Kawai is used to being the center of attention wherever she goes—it's just how life works for someone like her. She's got the confidence to back it up, too. But then Medaka Kuroiwa transfers to her school, and for the first time, someone doesn't seem interested. Every interaction between them leaves him frowning while everyone else is falling all over themselves. Mona takes this as a personal challenge. She's determined to win him over, throwing everything at him, but Medaka stays cold as ice. Turns out he's serious about becoming a monk someday, which means he's deliberately keeping his distance from worldly temptations—and that includes Mona. But the harder she tries to get a reaction from him, the more her feelings start shifting in an unexpected direction. She might actually be falling for the one guy who couldn't care less.
